As the resident free bird, Chipette gets the pleasure of coming in the portion of the back yard which we definitely don't allow the other chickens. All the other chickens are quickly ushered back to their area if they get over the fence or through the gate. Chipette is more domesticated than any other chicken as I have mentioned and she gets to roam freely wherever she wants to go. She also gets more food from us with that freedom. Here is a picture of her getting the leftovers from an apple. She ate it a bit and then shook her head wildly I guess to get the juice off. She is a funny little bird, but we love her.
