Then we moved out of the city. I have not had corn earworm since. How I have I done this? Well I really am not positive. I have several theories on this though.
Theory 1. I have had chickens ever since I have moved from the city. The chickens have had access to the gardens where the corn has been grown. One of my thoughts is that the chickens eat any bugs they can get their beaks on. They do typically like to lay at the base of the corn to stay in the shade during the day so I guess it is plausible, but I don't think this is true.
Conclusion. Well I am not sure there is a conclusion. I would recommend buying some chickens and getting some lady bugs if you have trouble with corn ear worm. Let me know if you have had the same or different experiences. I would love to know your experience. If you have corn ear worm think of it as a badge of honor. No chemicals. It reminds me of my childhood.
