1lb. organic grass fed ground beef
2 large potatoes or equivalent smaller potatoes
1 pint of canned tomatoes (a 12oz can of diced or stewed tomatoes from the store would work)
2 cups of frozen green beans (or a pint of canned green beans or a 12oz can of store bought)
1 cup of corn (or a 12oz can of corn from the store)
2 cut up carrots
1 onion diced
4 stalks of celery cut up. We have used bok choy stems instead of celery.
2 cups of beef or vegetable broth
Any other vegetable you desire.
Step 1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain.
Step 2. Combine everything into a crock pot.
Step 3. Add salt/pepper to your liking.
Step 4. Cook on high for at least 4-5 hours. Longer doesn't hurt and makes the carrots/potatoes softer. My wife will put it on high for half the day and then on low for the last couple of hours until dinner. It all depends how the day goes.
