I realized I have not put any recipes on this blog as I intended when I began it. I forget recipes if I don't make them often so it is good to have a place to refer back to for me personally and I hope it helps others out there. So every Monday I intend to post a recipe. The recipes will hopefully be items that I cook regularly or have cooked in the past and utilize fresh food that we grow or raise. Also, I will give some shortcuts for those busy families like ours to help make the prep time shorter which is why I am choosing Monday to post these. The work week can sometimes be a grind especially when you have children. Any time saved is sometimes a life saver. Note that I don't use measuring spoons so I won't be listing 1/2 teaspoon of this or 1 tablespoon of that. I prefer the shake method. A couple of shakes of this spice here and 2 shakes here. It's not scientific, but I don't think it should be. Taste it and your taste buds will tell you what it needs. Feel free to send me any recipes and I will post those too!
